generally in the form of vertical triptychs, one or more of the images contain the shadow of the author;
the decision to include his presence into the recorded image shows the desire of the author to be, at least momentarily, part of the landscape; the use of the shadow permits to leave the scene without having to erase an eventual pollution or to restore any deterioration caused by this presence
